The cost of sunbeds & co

 

The Environment, Sustainability and Coastal Department of Sant Josep Town Hall met with the operators of the beach service in the coves last week. Sant Josep's beaches should be a reference for Ibiza. So everyone has to work together to balance pleasure and coastal protection, explained Mayor Vicent Roig.

Here are the prices:

• Beach loungers and parasols cost 10 euros per day and 5 euros from 3.30pm,
• 30 minutes pedalo, kayak etc. cost 15 euros.
• Water skiing costs 15 euros for 20 minutes,
• Windsurfing 30 euros for 30 minutes,
• Sailing boats can be charged at 60 euros per hour.

 

All operators and employees must be clearly identifiable. They wear white T-shirts with the town hall's coat of arms and the name of the licence on the front. "Serveis de Platja" is written on the back in Catalan, Spanish and English. No other advertising is allowed on the shirt.
